What we store
- Your account: your email address and password. It’s a Ken’s Toolbox account, the same sign-in as Broadser and the other Ken’s Toolbox products; the password is kept by our account provider (Supabase Auth) only as a one-way hash, and we can’t read it.
- Your training: the plan you chose and your changes to it, weight / reps / RIR / time for each set, when workouts start and end, skipped or swapped exercises, and each exercise’s current working weight.
- Your settings: language, weight unit, theme, and your setup answers (experience, goal, days per week, equipment).
- Optional body-weight entries: saved only when you enter them.
What we don’t collect
- We don’t ask for height, body weight, medical history or other health information, and the web app doesn’t read Apple Health or any other health platform.
- We don’t show ads, sell or share your data, or run third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
Where it’s kept
- Not signed in: only in this browser’s local storage on this device. Clearing the browser’s data removes it.
- Signed in: with your account (a Supabase-hosted database), with a copy in your browser for offline use. Database access rules let each account read and write only its own records.
- Netlify hosts the site, and the typeface loads from Google Fonts; those services see your IP address.
- Your sign-in is kept in the browser’s local storage and in a cookie for this site, to keep you signed in on this device.
Signing out and data on this device
- Signing out first syncs this device’s workouts to your account, then removes training data from the device, so the next person using it can’t see your records.
- Workouts logged on a device before you sign in are never merged automatically — you’re asked whether to add them to your account.
Export and deletion
- Settings → Data: export a full backup (a JSON file) at any time, or clear this device.
- Deleting training data: signed in, choose Settings → Data → Delete my training data. It’s removed from your account and this device right away.
- Deleting the Ken’s Toolbox account itself (shared with Broadser and others): send us a message from the help page with your account email.
Changes
- If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the date at the top of this page changes too.
